Edmund Arbuthnott was a national chaplain of the English YCW, who also wrote a short biography of Cardijn.
Biography
The only survivor of four priests, when a rocket bomb destroyed Dockhead, London, church in the war, Canon Edmund Arbuthnott, M.A., secretary of the Southwark Catholic Rescue Society, took over as national chaplain of the English YCW from Canon Edward Mitchinson in autumn 1958.
Later he attended the 2nd International YCW World Council in Rio de Janeiro in 1961.
He also wrote a short biography, Joseph Cardijn, Priest and founder of the YCW.
